I started the Victorian Cosmetic Institute in 2005 at age 29, and I have dedicated the last 20 years to performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures and liposuction. As a mostly self-taught practitioner, I had to navigate my own way through how to perform the various cosmetic procedures. In particular, I have questioned the true usage of dermal fillers over this time. During my time practising cosmetic medicine, I also started a Youtube channel, which challenges the current thinking in the cosmetic industry, and helped to bring to light the not so temporary longevity of dermal fillers.
