Dr Szeto has been trained as a specialist in emergency medicine in Hospital Authority and a health informatics manager in Centre of Health Protection, HKSAR after his graduation in 1995. 

His major interests are medical tourism, travel medicine, and health informatics. He has actively participated in the past events of World Trade Organization strike, swine flu outbreak, Manila hostage medical evacuation and Standard Chartered marathon. In 2010, he founded the first private emergency medicine centre to provide 24/7 pre-hospital medical services in Hong Kong. His life-long goal is steering Hong Kong to be an excellent medical tourism hub in Asia.
