Dr. Patrick Huang, a pioneering dermatologist in Asia, holds several prestigious roles. At Chang Gung Memorial Hospital-Kaohsiung, he served as the Dermatology Department Chair and received recognition as an Outstanding Educator. Since 2012, he has been the Executive Director of the Taiwanese Dermatological Association. Dr. Huang established the Taiwanese Dermatology Aesthetic Conference in 2013 and the Taiwan Society for Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery in 2016. In 2012, he assumed the role of a surveyor for dermatology residency training programs, and in 2017, he made significant revisions to the program, which included intense training in skin surgery in Taiwan. In 2018, the committee appointed him to oversee the on-site inspection of aesthetic medicine institutes. He has been organizing IMCAS Asia since 2014 and has been the Host and Mentor in the International Traveling Mentorship Program of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery since 2018. During the pandemic, he founded the Cyber Conference of Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin Surgery in APAC (CyASIA). Dr. Huang’s clinic in Kaohsiung received the Premium Prize for Taiwan’s National Healthcare Quality Award 2022. His dedication to medical education led to his election as the Board President of Kaohsiung American School from 2016 to 2018.
